Team swimmers range in age from 5 to 18 years and bring a wide range of experience, but they all show tremendous dedication. Myst is a competitive swimming program oriented toward developing the whole swimmer. We believe there is more to competition than collecting trophies.

Here at The Water School we recognise the need to treat teenagers, not as the children they were, but as the young adults that they are becoming. We realise that being a teenager is a confusing and difficult enough time already without the added confidence issues of learning something new that other classmates or friends may have learned at a young age. Our experienced teachers understand that no teenager would be comfortable learning how to swim in a beginners class with much younger children.

Red Cross Swim Basics is a two-level learn-to-swim program for adults and teens. Red Cross Swim Basics 1 offers an introduction to swimming with a focus on front swim. Red Cross Swim Basics 2 focuses on developing front and back crawl, establishing comfort in deep water, and increasing the swimming distance.
